About
The Jewelry Studio is located at 15B Bank Street in Wellfleet. The building was formerly the studio of well-known painter Javier Gonzalez and subsequently a glassblower's workshop before becoming the Jewelry Studio. Bank Street is a short slope connecting Main Street (at the corner of the Wellfleet Marketplace) to Commercial Street (Uncle Tim's Bridge is visible at the bottom of our hill). Come visit our shop and studio, open year-round, and see how we make our handcrafted jewelry!

Current Hours: Now that it is winter time (!), it’s best that you call our studio before making visit; we are not keeping regular hours at this time but we are available by appointment and can often be caught tinkering in the studio by chance. Stay warm and safe!
Jesse Mia Horowitz was born and raised in Wellfleet, and received a BFA in jewelry and metalwork from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Her love of her native landscape inspired her work, leading her to design the ocean-inspired jewelry for which she is well known today. She feels incredibly lucky to have opened a working studio/gallery in her hometown, and customers always enjoy being able to watch Jesse and her sister create beautiful treasures in their workshop.
Neile Margret Horowitz, also born and raised in Wellfleet, was always more of a visual artist but ultimately chose to study the History of Art at UCLA. Living in California has affected her artistic style in several ways. After interning in several galleries, Jesse finally convinced Neile to move home and work with her at the Jewelry Studio. She has been teaching Neile skills in the craft for the past 5 years, which has turned out to be a fruitful pairing in business as well as family.
